oh, and since he has all those plants and trees on his ship, if youre new, im sure that if you look hard enough, you can find a monkey climbing around in a tree thats willing to give you a tour. 
anyway, just go to the beach and walk on over to his ship! after that, go to the ship hold, and click the “Pirates Catalog” in the lower right hand side of the screen.
now, click the button i highlighted in red, to receive a free background. and thats how to get the free background. now, for the pin.
